A toaster fire at Sherbourn Road led to extensive damage, with the fire service cutting through the kitchen window to extinguish the flames and breaking down the front door to access the property.

Our initial response focused on making the property safe, installing hoardings over the damaged window and fitting a temporary front door. Once approved for reinstatement, we carried out a full hazardous clean to remove smoke damage throughout the property. A targeted drying program was then implemented on the ground floor, where water from the fire service had saturated walls, flooring, and the kitchen structure.
